Egg donation IVF allows women with fertility problems to have the opportunity to have children. IVF with egg donation is an infertility treatment for women whose eggs are not suited for generating successful pregnancy. Some women have an insufficient egg production or other women produce poor quality eggs. Older women who have surpassed the age of menopause and that are good candidates for IVF egg donation treatment. Most women who undergo IVF with egg donation are over the age of 40 and above.
The procedure for egg donor ivf is carried out like a procedure for an ivf treatment, the only difference is that a young and healthy woman provides her egg rather than your own eggs.
Egg Donation Laws in North Cyprus
Egg donation is completely anonymous in North Cyprus unlike certain other countries. Any child conceived through egg donation in North Cyprus. This law equally applies to the egg donor and the intended parent. Neither party will be able to trace the identity of the patients nor the donor who received and donated their eggs. Both patient and donor identity will remain anonymous, since transmitter and receiver identity information are strictly confidential according to North Cyprus laws.
Egg Donation Recommended for Women:
- Women whose ovaries do not produce eggs
- Women with Pre-menopause, menopause, Surgery
- Women with surgical removal of the ovaries
- Women with absence of the ovaries
- Due to inherited genetic conditions
Donor Selection and screening
Donors must undergo regular screening and will be tested for fertility and infectious disease
For an accurate donor matching process, we ask that you provide us with the following information:
- Yours and your partners physical features eg: your skin color, hair color, eye color
- Yours and your partners blood groups
- Yours and your partners picture
Once you are ready to begin your treatment, we will ask that you fill out a "donor recipient form". On this form, you will provide us with your own physical features as well as further donor specifications. Based on the information you provide us, we will be able to narrow down our donor pool to match your criteria and shortlist our egg donors who are best matches. You will be provided with a list of egg donors to choose from once the initial screening process is finalized.
After the donor has been chosen the donor will be put on a treatment of hormone injections. After the eggs have been retrieved, the role of the egg donor is complete. Semen sample is collected from the male patient is then used to preform ICSI (Fertilization) with the donors Oocytes. Once the embryos are at a certain stage they are transferred to the uterus of the femal patient.
