Cytoplasmic Transfer Treatment

Cytoplasmic transfer is the same as IVF/ICSI procedure in addition a young healthy donor eggs are used . In order for the cytoplasmic transfer to work is the female patients eggs are retrieved.

The nucleus is supplemented with cytoplasm from a young healthy donor in order to faciliate cellular respiration, once this proccess is complete The fertilized eggs are incubated until they reach the ideal stage. Once they have reached the ideal stage the embryos are then transferred to the females uterus, positioned to where it should be situated.
