Embryo Donation Treatment
Embryo Donation
Embryo Donation is the treatment of infertility in couples where both partners struggle with infertility issues due to a lack of reproductive cells or loss in their function.
The donor embryo procedure is the method of choice in such cases. Embryo donation is also commonly known as embryo adoption or rescue surrogacy.
For Embryo Donation, necessary physiological preparations are made as a result of proprietary treatment following analysis and examinations which reveal the condition of the female patient. The appropriate treatment is then started for the preparation of the uterus.
For couples who apply for embryo donation we use frozen embryo transfer.
Frozen embryos refer to those embryos that are not transferred during in vitro fertilization cycles and are subsequently cryopreserved. A frozen embryo transfer can be used to produce a viable pregnancy by first thawing the frozen embryo and transferring it into an appropriately prepared uterus. Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) using embryo cryopreservation has become increasingly popular. Reaching for a pregnancy using frozen embryos is called a thaw cycle or a frozen embryo transfer cycle or simply an FET cycle.
Using this procedure, the embryos are defrosted or thawed for about 15 minutes prior to being transferred to your womb.
